Cosplay Night Gacha Evaluations

This evaluation

We evaluate the Halloween cards from Cosplay Night, starting with Halloween Raden, “高貴なるヴァンパイアの嗜み”.

Halloween Raden

Halloween Raden is a Cute-type Tec43 card. Her member performance is modest, while her outfit supports a ReGLOSS-based Tec team. Even at bloom5, her Right Triangle8 Connect scores about the same as Vertical I4 and Surround12. One copy for the outfit is easier to justify than pursuing bloom5.

Raden as a member

The extra Special effect and Passive require at least two ReGLOSS members, so a Tec-focused ReGLOSS partner is the natural choice.

Only swimsuit Ririka and Halloween Hajime fit that role. The small choice of partners is a weakness, but their Active intervals differ: Raden uses 23 seconds, Ririka 28 and Hajime 32. They can be used together normally.

After its upgrade, Special provides 120% score support for 12 seconds, plus 45% activation-rate UP with two ReGLOSS members. The score-support portion is unconditional. Swimsuit Noel and swimsuit Suisei have the same configuration; this is standard performance.

After its upgrade, Active has a 23-second interval, 8-second duration, 120% score UP and 46% activation probability, with no conditions. It is identical to swimsuit Kanade, swimsuit Suisei and swimsuit Mio, with no standout advantage.

Passive gives two ReGLOSS members 12% score support when at least two are deployed. That ties the highest value in its family, but score-support Passives are generally weaker than parameter-UP Passives at present. Its scoring contribution is modest compared with a single-parameter increase for two members or an all-parameter increase for the user.

Raden's outfit

With at least two ReGLOSS members, everyone's Tec increases by 135%. This is 15 percentage points above unconditional Tec120 outfits. Only three Tec135 outfits currently exist, and the other two also require a group: initial Aki Rosenthal requires two 1st Generation members, and swimsuit Ayame requires two 2nd Generation members.

There are only three Tec-focused ReGLOSS cards: Halloween Raden, swimsuit Ririka and Halloween Hajime. Owning one of the other two alongside Raden lets you meet the condition with a Tec-focused pair. The remaining three positions can use other Tec-focused members freely.

If you own both Ririka and Hajime, you can use the outfit without deploying Raden and avoid her weaker Passive. One more Cute member also enables Ririka's Tec43% Passive.

Without a Tec-focused partner, another ReGLOSS member can still activate the party-wide Tec135 effect. Raden's Passive boosts score support, so it remains useful even if that partner focuses on another parameter.

Future Tec-focused ReGLOSS cards could broaden the available formations.

Raden's Connect and bloom5 value

Her Connect is Right Triangle8, with an effect rate of 85% at bloom0–4 and 135% at bloom5.

Right Triangle8

Its main use is the leader's red Connect slot on a Board whose score-support nodes lie to the right. At low bloom it substitutes for Vertical I4 or Upper L4. At bloom5 it becomes a top red candidate, but final scores are about the same as Vertical I4 and Surround12.

Elsewhere, outward yellow can increase solo-song bonuses and inward blue can increase activation rate and parameters, but these are runner-up uses at best. Even bloom5 only joins two other red options and rarely becomes the first choice elsewhere, making a Connect-driven bloom5 chase low priority.

With modest member performance too, one copy for the Tec135 outfit, without actively chasing bloom5, is a reasonable approach to Halloween Raden.
